Standby Generator Replacement
Provided new generator plant infrastructure to support the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center (HDIFC), including the generators and all systems required to support the generators. Work included fueling, cooling, remote radiators, fans, and starting systems, renovations to various rooms and the adjacent surroundings including abatement; emission controls and turbochargers, fuel polishing, silencers, paralleling switchgear, remote monitoring, remote controls, monitoring of existing transfer switches, read-only connection to existing Building Automation System.
(BAS), and electrical equipment, feeders, and branch circuits contained within various locations. This project also included the installation of new medium voltage switchgear in room lC-G-VAULT and the connection of the new switchgear sections to the existing medium voltage switchgear.
