Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain- BEI Renovation Project 1995
After selective demolition was completed to provide access for the project, the overhaul of this century-old high school began. New system equipment included the following:
As part of this extensive renovation, several items that were in good working condition were relocated, including the existing panelboards and conduits that interfered with new walls and elevator shafts. Five branch circuit conduits per floor, used for each of the newly installed elevators, were also relocated.
All power and final connections were provided to all of the new equipment provided under separate contracts, as well, including two elevators, the handicap lift, the door operators, all electric flush valves, the restroom hand dryers, a ceramics kiln in the art department, and all of the new mechanical equipment. The team performed all of the coring and firestopping as required for electrical work.
