Project Scope:

Cook_County_Circuit_Court​Work on this project was organized into two bid packages. The first bid package was performed at the Cook County Department of Corrections facilities at 2600 South California Avenue (the Criminal Courts building and tCook_Countyhe Criminal Courts Administration building), and the Municipal District Courthouse locations in Skokie, Rolling Meadows, Maywood, and Bridgeview. Work on the second bid package took place at the Jail complex at 2700 S. California Avenue, including the perimeter, tunnels, posts, the central kitchen, four Department of Community Supervision and Intervention buildings, and all divisions at the location (1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10).

In locations throughout all facilities, the complete installation of video camera and recording systems (CCTV) included both architectural and mechanical work. All areas required strict compliance with procedures dictated by the high-security correctional areas of work.

For Bid Package #1, 645 fixed cameras were installed, an additional 85 existing fixed cameras were replaced, 17 new monitoring stations were installed, 55 existing monitoring stations were replaced, and 18 new antennas were installed.

In Bid Package #2, 1,064 new fixed cameras were installed. An additional 129 existing fixed cameras were replaced. Six pan-tilt-zoom cameras were installed, including an additional four existing cameras that were replaced. Monitoring stations installations included 117 new locations and 94 station replacements. Six new antennas were installed, and five new consolidations panels were installed, as well.
